Guidelines for Authors
Manuscripts should be written in accordance with the publication manual of the American Psychological Association.
Include title of paper, name(s) of author(s), affiliation, mailing address (include postal codes and e-mail address) and a running headline. The title page will be removed by the Editor prior to the refereeing process to allow for a masked review.
An abstract should consist of a maximum 125 words on a separate sheet. The abstract must, if it is the result of an empirical research, briefly outline theoretical basis, research question/s, methodology and instrumentation, sample/s and important characteristics (e.g. number, gender and age) as well as the main findings of the study. Also, it should include main conclusions. An abstract for a theoretical article or a review should describe the topic, the objective or thesis and the scope of the article. It should also outline the main conclusions.
A paper submitted should not exceed 6000 words including abstract, references, illustrations and appendixes.
IRIBM is an international scholarly journal. Manuscripts must be written in English. It is recommended that non-native English speakers have their papers checked in regard to language accuracy prior to submission.
Manuscripts may be submitted electronically to the Editors-in-Chief. The manuscripts must be double-spaced and numbered consecutively, starting with the title page. If reporting statistics, sufficient information must be included according to the APA Manual.
Footnotes should be numbered consecutively with superscript Arabic numerals.
Authors should follow APA format in designing tables and figures and consider the fact that illustrations supplements – not duplicates – the text. In the text, refer to every table and figure and tell the reader what to look for. Discuss only the table’s highlights.
Figures and Tables must be placed on separate pages; not included in the text. They can be submitted as separate file/s. Figures and Tables must have an Arabic number, an explaining text and a title. Their approximate place in the text should be clearly indicated.
If you have any questions about references or formatting your article, please contact the Editors-in-Chief.
It is a condition of publication that authors assign copyright or licence the publication rights in their articles, including abstracts, to the International Research in Business and Management Journal. Authors are themselves responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted material from other sources.
